Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 November 2026
Urban Touch Entertainment Ltd ("Urban Touch", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through urbantouchevents.com (the "Website"), how we use it, and your rights under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
1. Who we are
Urban Touch Entertainment Ltd is an event production company based in Nairobi, Kenya. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this Website. To reach us about your data, use the Contact page or call +254 720 781 381.
2. What we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), event type, event date (optional) and the message you write.
- If you call or contact us directly: whatever you choose to tell us.
- Technical data: when you visit, our hosting provider automatically processes standard server information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time. This is needed to deliver and secure the Website.
Please do not include sensitive personal information (such as health, financial account or ID details) in your message. We do not need it to prepare a quotation.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, discuss your event and prepare a quotation, which you have asked us to do.
- To run, secure and troubleshoot the Website.
- To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making. We will not add you to a marketing list without asking you first.
4. Cookies and tracking
This Website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy first. Links to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok take you to those platforms, which have their own privacy policies.
5. Who we share it with
- Netlify, Inc. hosts the Website and handles the enquiry form. Your submission is stored in their systems and sent on to us.
- Google provides the fonts used on the Website. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address.
- Professional advisers and authorities, only where we are required to by law.
6. Transfers outside Kenya
Our service providers may process data on servers outside Kenya, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on those providers' own security and data-protection commitments, and we share only what is needed.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with your request and to maintain reasonable business records, then delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete your details sooner (see section 9).
8. Security
The Website is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you have the right to:
- be informed about how your personal data is used;
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- object to the processing of your personal data;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or misleading;
- ask us to delete data, where the law allows;
- receive your data in a portable format, where it applies; and
- withdraw your consent at any time.
To use any of these rights, contact us via the Contact page or call +254 720 781 381. We will respond within the time required by law.
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to Kenya's Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) at www.odpc.go.ke.
11. Children
This Website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
